"Healing of Peter's Mother-in-law"
Matt 8:14-15 Mark 1:29-31 Luke 4:38-39
A common excuse --- oops, 'reason' for; "I would Believe in JESUS CHRIST;
however -'you know', by the time one person tells another, who tells another, through
the hundreds of years; the story may not be true."
Let's examine the Facts:
First, when JESUS The CHRIST performed His first Miracle. He TRANSFORMED
(scientifically impossible) water into wine!
Second, a father, hearing the 'story' (True Fact), BELIEVED. The father traveled
over a hundred miles. Found CHRIST and asked Him to please return with him to his
home. Where CHRIST could "lift" (by Divine Power, cure) his son, who was dying
of the fever. --- CHRIST raised His arm, and over a great distance,
ON COMMAND, CURED the Boy's fever!
Thus, in His first two Divine Miracles, JESUS The CHRIST, PROVED He had
Divine Power over matter (earth, water, air, fire) and Man. (his physical
being)
In his third Divine Miracle, JESUS CHRIST amazed the Eyewitnesses, most of
whom were 'highly educated' scholars and leaders of the Jews, in their
temple/synagogue. Because, as the man with an evil spirit admitted and exclaimed:
"I know who you are! You are the Son of GOD !" Also, what doctrine
(comprehensible Power) is this !? For He (CHRIST) with Authority (Divine
Power over Man) has changed the man's spirit! (vociferous,
fearing, eccentric PERSONALITY/spirit)
Thus, if you analyze CHRIST JESUS' first three Divine Miracles, He has
PROVEN He is the Divine Son of GOD, with Divine/Supernatural Power over ALL
in this World! ----- What is left to Prove? ----- How can any sound
thinking, especially 'smart' thinking Man, or Woman, doubt??
This GODsday/Sunday, we are only, chronologically, at CHRIST's fourth Divine
Miracle. There are at least 37 Divine Miracles that are the PROOF of
CHRIST's Divinity. And also are the PROOFS why this Preacher considers the
Pure Christian Faith, the BEST.
Yet, even after presenting the 37th Divine Miracle, it appears that 99 of 100 non-Believers will
still be non-Believers!? Mostly, because they do not know, or had the
opportunity to read, review and consider the TRUTH of this Preacher's
Theological presentations and explanations.
Further you should consider, the Pure Christians Faith is composed, per the
combination of the BEST Practices of the (major) Christian Religions:
Lutheran (based on Martin Luther's reforms), Baptist, Catholic, Greek
Orthodox, Mormon,
Episcopalian, Etc. and coordinated in the Spirit of Truth.
Of course being heard or read is important; as this gives You,
and You, and especially You ---- a chance to save your Soul (each Person's first
duty).
And if possible, You should suggest to Family and Friends to read, review and consider
this Pure Christian Faith.
When one analyses a non-Believer's excuse-- oops, 'reason'; they say they do
not BELIEVE, because CHRIST is a person to person conveyed 'story'.
Let us analyze what three of the Eyewitnesses wrote:
(1) Per Matthew, Chapter 8, Verses 14,15
"And when Jesus had come into Peter's house, He saw Peter's mother-in-law
lying in bed, sick with the fever. And He touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she rose and
began to wait on them."
(2) Per Mark, C 1, V 29-31
"And as soon as they came out of the synagogue, they, with James and John,
came to the house of Simon (Peter) and Andrew.
Now Simon's mother-in-law was in bed, sick with the fever, and they
immediately told him about her. And drawing near, He took her by the hand
and her fever left her at once, and she began to wait on them."
(3) Per Luke, C 4, V 38,39
"But He rose from the synagogue and entered Simon's house. Now Simon's
mother-in-law was suffering from a great fever, and they besought Him for
her. And standing over her He rebuked the fever, and it left her; and she
rose at once and began to wait on them."
Please notice, each Eyewitness wrote that JESUS CHRIST, immediately, ON COMMAND,
CURED Peter's mother-in-law! Thus each wrote about the same TRUE Fact.
Yet, non-Believers give the excuse --- oops, 'reason', "Through the hundreds
of years, may not be true. Notice, the words are not exactly the same."
Had each Eyewitness wrote precisely the same words. The non-Believers would
then use their favorite excuse --- oops, 'reason'. "The Eyewitnesses got
together and fabricated the same story. Notice, they use the same words."
And most non-Believers are knowing deceivers, because they KNOW that the Apostles
went to different areas and wrote their Eyewitness accounts, from memory,
at different times.
